Spamdex - the Digital Spam Archive!
Spam Archive is a non-profit library of thousands of spam email messages sent to a single email address, a Digital Library of spam emails. We also have a number of contributors that report spammers and regularly sent in their junk email.
Unsolicited email ("spam") forces unwanted and objectionable materials into our mailboxes, impairs our ability to communicate freely, and costs Internet users billions of dollars annually.
Spamdex protects email as a viable communication and commerce medium by supporting measures to reduce the amount of unsolicited email that crosses private networks, while ensuring that valid email reaches its destination.
Here we collect all the spam that is publishable, safe and accountable. Have a look at our top spammers to see who is offending the most. Our archive currently contains spam emails from spammers and is getting updated every day. Although we focus on UK spam, we list spam for all over the world.
We try and filter out the worst of the spammers, the real old fashion spam that is impossible to account for. By account for we mean we cannot attribute the spam to a person or business. Whilst most spam has a commercial focus, the purpose of this archive is to make spammers identifiable. Some spam is just malicious!
For the comical, the moronic or the spam that typifies old style scams and cons we have create a list of domains that either spam or are included in a con. For this type of low level spam we have created a list of urls that are consistently spamming. Spam with viruses or spyware etc. are deleted and cannot be placed in the archive. What's not in the archive.
