Hello Blue,

The countdown has started!  There's less than 3 weeks till Thanksgiving and 7 weeks till Christmas.  I almost find that hard to believe.  I mean, it seems like I was just celebrating the fourth of July and now I'm working on my Christmas card list.  Time flies - literally!

Because the clock is ticking, over the next several weeks, I'm going to try and provide you with as much useful holiday information as I possibly can.  For example, I'll be posting a new gift guide each week.  No gift in any of the guides I post will be over $50, and right now many, many of the gifts in the guides that have been published are under $20!

I've got THE best way to cook a holiday Turkey - no kidding! If you're turkey comes out less than stellar each year, or this is your first attempt at cooking a turkey, then you'll love my turkey recipe.  I also have a great Thanksgiving printable available to help you stay on track and on budget.  It's a great tool to keep you organized.  It's free, so go download your copy.

If you've got a holiday idea or want me to write about something particular  over the holidays, please let me know.  I love hearing from you!

To close the loop on a problem I discussed with you all a few weeks ago, I did make a decision on what I'll do about a Christmas gift for my grandson, Lucas.  First, thanks to all of you who took the time to write to me and offer some very practical and thought provoking advice.

I've decided to start a tradition with him and make or purchase a special ornament for his future Christmas tree.  My mother did this for us when we were kids and to this day, when I take out decorations that are 40 and 50 years old, it brings me back to my childhood and all the wonderful memories I have celebrating the holidays with my family.  I hope I can help create wonderful memories too  for him to keep in his heart.

As was predicted the Mrs. Myers Holiday Scent collection sold out so the offer has changed somewhat for those that are still interested in getting your hands on some free products. The new offer includes: For those who just want to join ePantry and are not interested in the above free offer,  you can go directly here.  With this offer you'll get a $10 credit and a free Grove Collaborative Soy Candle.  Another great deal from ePantry!

Last but not least, I want to tell you about a new cash back program I stumbled upon. Want to get cash back while you shop AND give to your favorite charities? Well then you've got to join the Giving Assistant! It gives you cash back fast - money is in your account in two days, (which will help you over the holidays) and let's you give a portion to a charity of your choice. Win Win! Go check them out too!

We're headed into the craziest time of the year, so please take care of yourself.  Give yourself enough time to get everything done.  And even if you don't, it won't be the end of the world, right? Remember to be kind to yourself.

Have a great weekend friends,
