At Sotheby’s Hong Kong the De Beers Millennium Jewel 4, a 10.10-carat fancy vivid blue diamond, sold for $31.8 million (within its estimate of $30 – 35 million), the highest price ever paid for a jewel at auction in Asia, according to Sotheby’s.
