With our best wishes for Christmas

As this is our last enews of this year, we wish you every blessing for Christmas and the New Year. May the light of Christ shine upon you and all those near to you.

Looking to early next year, we want to remind you of the opportunity to join together with others in unity to pray for our city and for our world through the 24 hours of prayer at St Chad’s Cathedral on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 January. Thank you to the different churches and groups who have offered to lead one of the hours.

If you are interested in leading one of the remaining hour slots please go to this link or email Stephanie Neville:

All are welcome to attend and join in, whatever your prayer tradition. Please feel to come and go as time permits on the Friday and Saturday.

Friday 20st January: 7.00am to 10.00pm or

Saturday 21nd January: 7.00am to 4.00pm

Thank you to those who already have offered to lead, including Chaplaincy Plus, St George/St Chad Primary Schools, Northfield Churches Together, Aston University Chaplaincy, St Chad's Sanctuary, The World Prayer Centre, Salvation Army, Taize, Active Christians, CIGB, Restore, St Martin's and The Church at Carrs Lane, Birmingham Vineyard Church and CAFOD. A full programme will be available in early January.

The programme includes a time of open worship on Friday evening between 7.00pm and 9.00pm.

The Presidents of Birmingham Churches Together are joining us for a prayer breakfast on Saturday morning from 7.30 to 9.00am when we will explore how we can pray together throughout 2017.

The address for the Cathedral is St Chad’s Queensway, Birmingham B4 6EU

Deadline for contributions to the next enews is 10.00am, Monday 9 January. It will include an events listing to the end of February.

The deadline for inclusion in the next publication of BEN is Tuesday 24 January to be posted on 1 or 2 of February.

Send contributions for the website, enewsletter and BEN to:
