Good morning! As most of us slowly get back to work after the holiday weekend, the co-founders of Brooklyn Laboratory Charter High School are busy figuring out what their new school will look like. We sat down with them to discus their ambitious goal to serve high-needs students that all aim for selective four-year colleges. 

Also, Schools Chancellor Carmen Fariña defended the city's "Renewal" program for struggling schools and former Regents Chancellor Merryl Tisch is urging the passage of the DREAM act in New York State.
