Good morning! In Albany yesterday, the Board of Regents voted to make the edTPA, the state's most controversial teacher certification exam, a little easier to pass. At the same time, a new Chalkbeat analysis reveals that teacher certification requirements disproportionately block teachers of color from entering classrooms.

Also, New York City revealed a district-wide integration plan for elementary schools on the Lower East Side and the Walton Family Foundation pledged to invest millions in diverse charter schools.
