PRN Mini-Course: Adjusting to Graduate School
Sign-up for our PRN Mini-Course on Adjusting to Graduate School. PRN Mini-Courses are email-based classes on various topics that you can take on an as-needed basis. Once you enroll, you will receive an email each day for a set number of days. Each email includes resources, strategies and quick exercises designed to help you practice the skills highlighted that day. You can work through them on your own time and at your own pace. Enroll now in this three-day course where we will cover: stress and coping, time management strategies, and exploring NYC and accessing resources at CUMC.

LGTBQIA+ @ CUMC Fall 2016 Group
Mental Health Services (MHS) offers a weekly confidential supportive group for students to discuss issues connected to LGBTQIA+ identities. This is an open-ended group led by a trained facilitator and group members will have opportunities to safely explore topics. This group will meet weekly throughout the semester. Learn more here.

Mental Health Rounds: Social Justice is a Mental Health Issue resumes this year with a return visit from Oscar Dimant, MD Candidate at NYU School of Medicine  and vice-chair of the Community Advisory Board at the Callen-Lorde Community Health Center, which has been providing quality medical and mental health care to the LGBT community for over 40 years.  In this workshop he will cover best practices and culturally competent care, as well as discussing recourse when such care is not being offered.

Yoga & Pilates
Our CSW Yoga & Pilates Program has changed for fall 2016. We have had to put our six weekly classes on hiatus for the semester, but will offer a free yoga class for current CUMC students on the first Thursday of every month. We will continue to partner with student groups and administrative units on special events and other opportunities to practice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for our participants.
