Garuda Indonesia’s recent commitment to a large number of Airbus A350s and Boeing 787s signals the Indonesian flag carrier’s intent to be more aggressive in its long-haul strategy.

FlightMaps Analytics shows that the only intercontinental routes Garuda currently operates are from Jakarta and Singapore to Amsterdam with an extension to London, Jeddah, and three points in Australia. It also has a regional network connecting Indonesia to Japan, Korea, China and Bangkok.
