Is Europe flying apart?

Monday, October 26, 2015
Money and Markets

Dear ,

Larry Edelson

I've made no bones about it: From the earliest days of the European Union, I've told anyone who'd listen that it was doomed to failure.

More recently, I told you very emphatically that the Union would not survive its current debt crisis.

Now, major cracks are appearing in the Union's foundations, just as I predicted.

Sunday's emergency EU meeting in Brussels on managing Europe's refugee catastrophe is a case in point.

The crisis is clearly a recipe for disaster:

Take 28 nations that already have debts so large they can barely service them and are obligated to provide cradle-to-grave benefits to anyone who asks ...

Add more than one million dirt poor Middle Eastern refugees — most of them young men with large families left behind who are desperate to follow them ...

Then simply sit back and watch the dominoes fall.

Watch their economies implode as consumers save for the rainy days that surely lie ahead.

Watch the euro crash and stocks crater as investors lose all confidence in the Union's survival.

No wonder German Chancellor Angela Merkel was heard saying of this weekend's meetings, "This is one of the greatest litmus tests that Europe has ever faced."

Slovenian Prime Minister Miro Cerar was even more direct: "If we do not deliver some immediate and concrete actions on the ground in the next few days and weeks ... the European Union and Europe as a whole will start falling apart."

What's most fascinating that it's all happening in October, as the first supercycle to form since 1929 begins to impact the world economy.

Remarkable that it's all happening just as my cycles studies predicted — and even WHEN they predicted!

Taken together, all of this confirms my most dire forecasts for the Continent: Barring a miracle, the European Union is racing towards a massive, crippling economic catastrophe.

Once again: This is why it's critical that you consider investments that rise when the euro plunges ... that soar when European stocks crater ... and that spin off huge profits as trillions of euros in flight capital move into U.S. dollars and investments ... will make savvy investors rich.

Yours for supercycle survival and profits,

Larry Edelson
