Following Donald Trump’s first press conference as president-elect, communications professionals are working hard to try and predict the unpredictable as Trump shows no sign of pivoting to a more traditional style of communications.

Speaking of disruption, the auto industry is also being reshaped, case in point at this year’s North American International Auto Show, where car companies and their partners are unveiling new technologies.

In other news, Burson-Marsteller made several big changes, promoting Mike Fernandez to U.S. CEO and naming Joel Benenson to worldwide vice chair. Plus, fellow WPP firm Cohn & Wolfe appointed Jim Joseph worldwide president.
