“How should I make a PPI mis-selling claim? I know you can claim direct and avoid paying a fee, but I believe this can be an arduous process – so which are the best PPI claim companies?”

Mark from our Money Sorting Squad answers: We’d suggest you contact your bank direct, and not use a claims firm. Banks have been told by their regulator to take a pro-active and positive approach to handling claims, so the process should be clear and straightforward. A claims company won’t add any value to the process, but they will snaffle a chunk of any compensation you receive.
