The Equality Trust works to improve the quality of life in the UK by reducing income inequality.

 Because more equal societies work better for everyone

INEQUALITY TODAY 2016

Dear

Thank you to all those who have already booked for this event. If you haven't yet booked, please make sure you reserve your place here as soon as possible to hear from Ed Miliband and Molly Scott Cato on promoting greater equality and sustainability in the age of Brexit.

We have now set up a new facebook event page to promote the event. We should be very grateful if you could join it, contribute and spread the word as far and wide as possible - thank you.

Best wishes

Wanda

============================================

STOP PRESS: We have a hard-hitting new report out today Walking The Tightrope which shows that around 6 million households have less in savings than they do in debt and are less than a month from financial disaster. We're calling on the Government to scrap its lifetime ISA scheme, which helps the well-off save, and channel funding towards its Help to Save scheme, which specifically helps low income households. Please help us highlight this dire situation, and call for change, by sharing the report widely with friends, family and colleagues as well as via social media. Please also write to your MP to ask them for their views and to raise the issue in parliament - and please let us know what they say in response. Thank you!
