Young entrepreneurs & technology solutions for climate change – the Think Young / 3M survey

7 December 2015 | 12:00 – 12:50

Grand Palais, 3 Avenue du Général Eisenhower, 75 008  Paris

Climate change is one of the defining challenges of the twenty-first century. Amongst young people, those pursuing an entrepreneurial career are naturally inclined to seek solutions in order to defy challenges.

In this respect, 3M asked Think Young to develop a short survey targeting 700 young entrepreneurs aged 18-32 across Europe to gauge their awareness of the upcoming COP21 debate and responsiveness to climate change by investigating how climate legislations shape their business decisions.

Think Young also conducted interviews and focus groups with 10 to 15 young entrepreneurs, active in developing sustainable technologies in Europe.
  • What are the conclusions of the study & interviews?
  • What are the remaining challenges & next steps?
Invited contributors:
  • Andrea Gerosa, Founder & CEO, Think Young
  • Gilles Pargneaux, MEP & Vice Chair of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, European Parliament
  • Maxime Bureau, Director, Government Affairs for Europe, 3M
Moderator:
  • Alexis Poulin, Director, EurActiv France
