Open this email to find out a positive side effect to smoking pot

"If it's flipping hamburgers at McDonald's, be the best hamburger flipper in the world. Whatever it is you do, you have to master your craft." — Snoop Dogg
Smoking pot may give you better night vision
Don’t be surprised if Snoop Dogg starts doing his concerts in the dark. A recent study published in eLife found that cannabis makes your retina more sensitive to light. Since marijuana research is forbidden on humans or other lab animals, scientists doped-up tadpoles to see how their optic nerves would respond to a light stimulus.

Researchers found that the cannabis subjects' cells were more responsive in bright conditions, and they were also more likely to forget where they put their keys. The results could potentially help human patients with diseases included retinitis pigmentosa and glaucoma. If you’re going to experiment, please science responsibly.

Pollution beware: Colossal outdoor vacuum cleaners coming your way
How come it’s 2016 and only now someone thought of making a Febreze air freshener for the environment? Dutch company Envinity Group did just that, inventing a purifying machine that filters out toxic tiny particles from the atmosphere.
The system covers a nearly 1,000-foot radius, extending four miles upwards. It cleans around 800,000 cubic meter of air per hour, filtering 100% of fine particles. "A large column of air will pass through the filter and come out clear," says a spokesman for Envinity Group.
The machine measures about eight meters long and will be placed atop buildings wherever the air needs a little loving. Governments, businesses and airports are already interested. No word on if scent PlugIns will be an option -- but if you smell toast on your next trip to Europe, it might be the air freshener, not a stroke.

Looking for a side hustle to help launch your career? Remember these three things

Working on the side can be tiring, but it can often teach you more about leadership and your career of choice faster than patiently waiting to step into your career. If you want to move faster and pick up a side hustle to do it, keep these tips in mind:

Look for the soft skills: No matter what you’re doing, look for the opportunities that build your work ethic, character, demeanor and leadership qualities. This type of learning will always benefit you in your career.

Look for the technical links: Find a side hustle that will grow the exact skill or skills you want to learn – experiential learning can be one of the best ways to advance your knowledge.

Don’t be afraid of being busy: If what you want is experience, work hard and don’t be afraid of being busy in order to get there. You’ll learn more about your work ethic, and you’ll realize that there are more opportunities available outside of the hours of 9-5.
