As you may or may not have seen, I will be presenting and moderating panels at the upcoming EV Transportation & Technology Summit (October 17th–20, 2016) in Cocoa, Florida.

The summit, held at the Florida Solar Energy Center, is a premier EV event that covers a wide variety of interesting EV topics in good depth. It is the best annual EV conference I’m aware of, and this year’s summit is sure to be a ton of fun.

EV Summit 2016 is a followup to the successful 2015 summit. It will focus on various EV technologies, EV-related transportation planning, and policies needed to accelerate electric vehicle adoption.

Topics include:

  • Policy and Planning for Innovative Transportation

  • The Economic Impact of EVs.

  • Open EV Networks

  • EV and Battery Technology

  • EV Powertrain, V2G Technology, and EV Case Study

  • EV R&D and the Future

  • EV Charging at Scale

  • Electric Transit Buses: Clean, Quiet, Efficient!

  • Wireless EV Charging Systems

  • Life-Cycles of EV Transportation

  • Drive Electric Florida

  • The FAST Act, Funding Future Transportation

  • Policy and Planning for Innovative Transportation

  • Envisioning Florida’s Transportation Future

  • EVs from an OEM’s (Nissan’s) Perspective

  • Policy and the EV Future

Seriously, what isn’t being covered?

Aside from numerous presentations, there will be panel discussions (I’m moderating them) and a full day of technical workshops (the first day of the conference). Find the full schedule here.

Who should attend?

  • Transportation planners (MPOs, TPOs and DOTs)

  • Planning, design and policy analysis consulting firms

  • Power service providers

  • Governmental and private sustainability managers

  • Large-scale employers

  • Automobile manufactures, dealers, and associations

  • Fleet managers

  • EV fanatics

  • You!
