EV revolution — you in?

CleanTechnica's focus is helping society help itself by using information, inspiration, and social persuasion to create positive change. In particular, we are trying to generate more clean transport and clean energy use.

In the car world, we've determined two key bottlenecks to quicker adoption — 1. low consumer awareness & experience and 2. limited charging infrastructure. These bottlenecks exist practically everywhere — even in EV-leading Norway!

Two events we are involved with in the coming few months tackle these two bottlenecks.

1. West Meets East — part of our Cleantech Revolution Tour conference series — is focused on understanding the EV charging world in Central & Eastern Europe and then stimulating more effective, efficient, well designed EV charging infrastructure in the region.

The conference To attend, go to eventbrite and register now! To learn more, see this article about the conference. I also recommend this webinar interview with GreenWay co-founder and managing director Badik and this interview with GreenWay Infrastructure Poland's CEO, Rafał Czyżewski.

2. Global EVRT just announced that its next (5th) electric vehicle road trip will launch from Abu Dhabi's World Future Energy Summit, part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, on January 18.

Incidentally, it will launch from a new event called The Mobility Conference that CleanTechnica is co-organizer of (along with Global EVRT and underneath Masdar).

Additionally, CleanTechnica journalists will join the road trip this time! Of course, you can join too. Head over here to register.

More info on the road trip is available in one of my latest articles: "Global EVRT Launching Longest Electric Vehicle Road Trip In Middle East From World Future Energy Summit 2018."

So, I hope to see you in Warsaw (Poland) or Abu Dhabi (UAE) soon! But if that's too far out of your way, hopefully it won't be long till we can meet elsewhere.
