[Episode 48] The Choice of a Lifetime

[Episode 48] The Choice of a Lifetime

Unusual new website reveals secrets of personal authority: how to get other people (especially SEXY WOMEN) to want to do what you want them to do:

Hey Guys,
Those four days I spent with Kara felt like the lowest point in my life. I could feel her restraint, and her feigned distance, and I knew I could have her close again by asking her to be with me for a lifetime.
But I didnt like the circumstances under which I had to choose. This was only the third time wed ever met, and wed barely spent a week together total. While people do it all the time, this was a bad, bad way to choose the woman you thought you were going to be with forever.
As it got closer to time for me to leave, I noticed her phone calls to her boyfriend got more frequent, and the I love yous got a little louder. She wanted me to hear them.  One time when I touched her hair from behind she said, stopI love him.
Man, she was starting to lay it on thick, and as much as I wanted to believe it, I just wasnt buying what she was selling. Oh, I believed shed met a guy and was trying to force a relationship, and I believed he was open. She was unbelievably alluring, and had I not had my attraction training, I would have given in.
But above all the pressure, heartbreak and pain, I was able to maintain my focus, projecting months and years into the future, not liking what I was seeing. Being on vacation with someone was one thingbuilding a life with them, quite another.
I knew as certain as the day is long that the attraction would fade. It happened with all my married friends, and its a scientific factafter three years, its gone and it aint coming back.
When it fades, youre left with the real woman in front of you, and youd better like her. Youd better be friends with her, better have the same hopes, dreams, desires, ability to resolve conflict, and view of the world. Kara and I had a lot of those, but we had some real deal killers. And I was starting to see that.
Shed told me when she first met her ex-husband how crazy in love they were. She also told me how she couldnt stand the sight of him the last three years of their marriage, refusing to even touch him. That did not bode well.
And so, with a heavy heart I made my choice. I chose to let her go, to let her experience the true love she so obviously had with the new guy. Oh, I didnt tell her that in so many words, but I did so by not telling her what she wanted to hear.
It hurt really, really bad. But I knew it was the right decision, and the words of the wise old woman on the plane came back to meyou cant know love until youve experienced heartbreak.
So I chose heartbreak. And I let Kara walk out of my life.
As we parted, I could tell she was disappointed. I could tell shed been hoping against hope Id sweep her off her feet, just like in the romance novels she loved to read.
But Id read them too, and the one thing that always struck me about the ending was this: happily ever after was presumed. The whole story was about them meeting, but in the grand scheme of things, that was a moment in time. The real story is about what happens afterwards, and in the real world that aint prettyshed already lived it once.
She drove me to the airport, glancing furtively at me as we got closer. I almost cracked, but remained firm. To finally understand attraction, I needed to experience heartbreak. My choice was firm. And it was final.
We pulled up to the terminal, got out, and walked to the curb. I hugged her one last time, looked her right in the eye and said, simply, I will never forget you.
I felt her quiver for an instant, then she said in a small voice, And I, you. She quickly turned and got in her car. As she drove away slowly, I could hear her crying.
And then she was gone.
I trudged towards the security line, feeling lower than Id ever felt before, yet knowing Id made the right decision because Id gained something in return. The price was high, higher than Id ever thought itd be. But it bought me something priceless, something worth every ounce of heartbreak Id experienced, something
On with the fun,

PS   Are you nervous around women? Maybe youre just shy in general, or maybe youre great around guys and women youre not attracted to, but when you meet one you really like, all of a sudden you just feel awkward.
Sucks, doesnt it, especially when you know this is preventing you from attracting the women you desire.
However, there is good news. A good friend of mine just told me about a little known method that turns your shyness into confidence, and your awkwardness into iron emotional control.
Whats remarkable is how fast this method works. But, dont take my word for it. Go to:
to put it to work for yourself.
