Political theory and social reality

The Odd “Button” To Push That Compels Women To Want You:
>> Compels Women To Want You

Hey Guys—

It has happened all throughout recorded human history, but especially

in the last 250 years:  political theory that sounds good in cafes,
coffee shops, and university classrooms fails miserably to produce
the theoretical results predicted when it is implemented in social

The reasons are simple, although many people snidely don’t wish to

believe them:  no theory can predict the absolute behavior of
billions of individuals at once who always act in their own self

Interestingly, this very same process applies to the “political

theory of love.”  The theory of love holds that once you and a
woman mutually experience “love” (itself undefined, and vaguely
identified as “you know it when you feel it,” a nonsensical saying
if there ever was one) it means you should get married, and from
that point on, you will experience a radiant future with no sin or
pain, and any mild conflict will be handled by romantic compromise.

It is the same thing promised by socialism, a radiant, halcyon

future where everyone has plenty, there is no economic sin, all
are cared for, and the state withers away with all citizens living
in comradely bliss.

It is, to use Doris Lessing’s book title, “The Sweetest Dream,” but

the great and terrible political experiments in numerous countries
in the 20th century have proven it to be a brutal nightmare,
resulting in an extreme version of the very thing it purports to

Yet many people not only cling to these beliefs, new converts are

attracted because the fantasy is a seductive one, a powerful one,
an almost believable one. No matter how much history you show them,
no matter how many people they talk to who have actually lived under
these systems, they still devoutly believe.

This is exactly the same process you see exhibited by two people,

especially younger people, who have identified that they are in love,
and therefore they will get married at any cost, and THEY will
achieve the promised happiness so many others have failed at because
THEY have TRUE LOVE and others did not.

They preach the political theory of love to each other every day

until that political theory meets social reality, and they discover
that all the facts, and figures, and results of others who came
before them do apply and that yet again political theory does not
match up with social reality.

The Idea of Love is seductive because of the powerful feeling it

produces, a high like no other.  But you have to recognize it for
what it is, a transient feeling to be enjoyed, not a sustained
emotion to build a two person society based solely on.   There are
many, many other factors that go into a successful real world
relationship, and those hold far more sway than the transient
feeling of love ever does.

So don’t be seduced by theories and feelings that sound and feel

oh-so-good in the moment.  Make your life altering decisions based
on observable social reality and history, and what you will discover
is, that while you may, at best, achieve an imperfect union, it
will be a lasting union with benefits that cannot be determined by
coffee shop theory.
