The mattress that catches CHEATERS!

For Older Men Who Want To Date And Bed Hot, Tight, Younger Women:
Hot, Tight, Younger Women

Hey Guys—

Ah, you simply cannot make this stuff up:

The Smart Mattress

spouse.html?intcmp=hplnws

Yes, indeed, it is a mattress specifically designed to catch

cheaters, based solely, well, on your bedroom prowess and if she
is a cold fish or not.

I presume the mattress stops merely at “catching” and takes no

part in the “confronting,” which is clearly the responsibility of
the cheat-ee. One wonders what will happen when the mattress
returns a false positive reading based, on say, the dog jumping
on the bed at an inopportune time.

This, of course, falls under the category of self fulfilling

prophecy, because people who are paranoid about being cheated
on usually are cheated on.  Paranoia kills attraction, as does
snooping, and no one ever thinks through what the outcome of
actually catching someone in the act will be.

Do they get to play the victim and appear on an Oprah show?  Do

they get to demand sympathy from their friends because they
experienced emotional trauma?  Do they expect the person they
caught to suddenly beg forgiveness and pledge loyalty for life?
Or do they take a hard look at reality, and realize that the
likely outcome is a nasty and protracted war, begun with the
embarrassment of the cheater getting caught?

While everyone has to make their own decisions about what to do if

you catch the woman in your life cheating (as well as what she
will do if she catches you spying on her), the question that
should be asked is, “is it worth ending a relationship over THIS?”

Sometimes the answer is yes, and it’s a convenient way to end it.

But sometimes the answer is no.  Perhaps it was a one time drunken
affair, perhaps a crazy night in Vegas, perhaps an irresistible
offer from a bar star in a sweeping moment. Or perhaps you simply
cannot meet all her needs, and she seeks an outlet, with no
intention of leaving you.

This is an individual decision on the part of every man, one that

must be carefully considered.  But that’s the point—everyone is
fixated on the catching in the act, not the consequences of the
catching, many which are unexpected.

There is also the (more) important question of, “if you are

constantly worried about her cheating on you, perhaps you and her
are a bad match.”  Even if she is not, and you live in fear of the
idea, her presence alone may bring up ideas that cause you to feel
less than happy with your relationship.

It is, of course, too much to ask most of the world to think about

emotionally charged issues, especially those that present the
opportunity for victim hood and self righteousness.  But since YOU
are smarter than the average man, YOU should think about such things
before you have to deal with events spinning out of control.  In the
end, it’s probably not a good idea to buy the Cheater Catching
Mattress or any other device to catch a cheater.  The better idea
is choose the women you prefer wisely, and focus on spending good
times with them, however long they may last.
