The LIES end today!

Sick…Gross…Disgusting…Yet Desired By All Women?
>> GROSS! (But All Women LOVE It)

Hey Guys—

Yes, indeed, for the past 4 months or so we’ve been lied to daily,

over and over and over.

What, by politicians and candidates you say?  Naw, they lie all

year round…*I* am, of course speaking about an arena where LYING
is encouraged, namely…

…the NFL Draft!

And yes, today, the lies, rumors, and falsehoods all 32 NFL teams

have been spreading end today, when the truth of which players
they covet are finally revealed on National Television.

When it comes to entertainment (and politics certainly crosses

over to that realm) people love deception.  That’s why poker
became popular on TV, why Game of Thrones is a huge hit (not
the only reason, but one of them), and why everyone now loves
the NFL Draft.

We want to see who’s the best LIAR.

The truth of the matter is, the human race couldn’t get along

without deception.  Some is deception with bad intent, but some
is deception with good intent, and good outcomes.  Telling “the
truth” all the time is a good way to get everyone pissed off at

It may sound odd, but when it comes to evaluating women, I actually

prefer a woman who is skilled at deception.  Another way of looking
at it, is a woman who is skilled at making you feel good by carefully
suppressing knowledge of the things that would make you grumpy, but
would not harm you.

Clearly lying and deceiving with the intent to do harm or commit a

crime is not virtuous at all.  But deception in order to make reality
more palpable is a skill to be learned, practiced, and admired.
Think of it as wrapping foul tasting medicine in a pleasing
coating— you get the benefits without the rotten taste.

When you learn the skill of “deception with good intent” you also

experience another benefit—you pick up on when others are deceiving
you.  That way you can merely acknowledge skill if their deception
has good intent as well, or you can identify it early as deception
with intent to harm.  In the first case, no need to tip your hand
to the deceiver, in the second case you can foil their devious

Like it or not, you must embrace the world as it is, and truth

telling all the time is a really bad policy.  Learning to deceive
so people can get the benefits of truth is a good skill to have,
and one that will bring you much respect as long as you don’t
cross over into the dark side and start to deceive for harm.

So, if you’re an NFL fan like I am, today is one of the best days

of the year…you get to find out who’s a good liar, who’s a bad
liar, and who’s a really, really great liar.

On with the fun…
