Thinking AND interacting

Women are using this tool to find & attract rich men. But any man
can use it, to find & attract hot women: >> Cool Tool

Hey Guys—

I am a big fan of thinking.  And I am a big fan of reading.  But I

am NOT a big fan of merely thinking and reading.  In fact, doing
so without actually interacting with the world and testing your
ideas is very dangerous.

Throughout history, the most repressive, horrific regimes have been

built on people thinking and reading, but not interacting with
reality to see if their ideas have merit.

The Jacobin Republic in revolutionary France, for example, was built

around Reason, Virtue, and most of all equality.  Maximilien
Robspierre was essentially the dictator for the three years that
existed, and he as known as the most virtuous man alive, “The
Incorruptible.”  Yet his Committee of Public Safety murdered tens
of thousands of French citizens with arbitrarily with no trial, due
process, or even application of law.

The intent of the thinking and reading was the opposite of the

reality of the application of ideas by men inexperienced in politics;
their ideas were supposed to be for the benefit of the “proletariat”
(workers) yet none of them had never even met a proletarian, much
less been one.  Their thinking and reading without interacting led
to horrors reminiscent of the future Soviet and Nazi regimes even
though they used words that sounded “democratic.”

But people are also guilty of this on a more personal level.  After

all it feels good to think up bright ideas, to read exciting things,
but it most certainly does not feel good to have your ideas quickly
and utterly rejected by interaction with reality.

What you must realize is that rejection is a good thing. It is the

process Col. John Boyd, the sadly unsung American philosopher,
called Creation and Destruction. You “create” an idea via thinking
and reading, but then you interact with the world and the idea is
quickly destroyed, proven to be without merit.  Then you create
another, better idea based on what you learned, interact, witness
more idea destruction, create another one, and you finally find
one that works.

Notice this process involves constant rejection which is why most

people tend to avoid it.  It IS a very useful process that gets you
to something that works, but you have to pay an emotional price for
it—the glow that comes with a good idea is traded away for rejection,
and no man wants that.

And yet it’s something you have to train yourself to want because it

is the only way to get to a workable idea.  In the end, if you sit
around coming up with bright ideas, all you get is the intellect,
income, and results of a low level, unfireable government bureaucrat.
That is not an especially desirable life circumstance unless you have
very modest desires.  I know you guys desire much more, so you must
pay the price, embrace rejection and think, read, and INTERACT.
Hard yes, but it gets you the good stuff in life.
