A backup plan for a sure thing

The Coolest Accessory Every Man Should Have:
>> Cool, FREE Accessory (Other Men Will Envy You)

Hey Guys—

One thing I’ve learned over the two decades I’ve been in business

is this:  never, ever count on just one deal.  No matter how good
it sounds, even the best can (and do) go bad and if that’s the
only deal you’ve worked on, you’re in big trouble.

That’s why you always work on multiple deals at once, knowing that

most of them will not work out.  It takes a certain mindset to do
this because instead of dealing with one failure, you have to deal
with constant failures.

But, if you work on multiple deals, one or two will pay off

handsomely, and it’s often not the deals you think.  Even then,
you can’t stop working on multiple deals, because even the
successful ones can go bad.

I have noticed that the same thing applies to dating, women, and

relationships.  Guys work on just one deal, and are shocked when
that deal goes bad when it’s least expected.  Not only do they
have no backup plan, they have no idea they should even have one.

The reality of existence is that men and women come together, split

apart, reform with different people, and on and on.  That is
observable human behavior and anyone who thinks they are exempt
from it because they met that “one special woman” is soon be a
morose fool with no women.

So, what exactly is a backup plan in a “sure thing” committed

relationship?  It is retention of existing relationships, forming
of new ones, and maintaining your attraction skills, even though
you are not getting physical with any other women.

If you do that, and the worst happens, you have immediate options

when the dust settles.  You have your skills, you have your networks,
you have the ability to meet and date new women.  And if you’ve
prepared for a breakup, you can implement your plan and get over
much faster than someone who thinks their life has come to a
complete end.

People desperately want to believe that normality of relationships

is meeting their soul mate, coming together via romantic love story,
then living happily ever after with each day better than the rest.
But that’s not normality.

Normality is what happens to the vast majority, and if you look at

the vast majority of relationships they end, and many end badly.
This is not a reflection on the people involved, merely how the
world works.  No one is exempt from it, least of the people who
blare otherwise.

No one ever got in trouble preparing for normal, natural occurrences,

and if you happen to find an “abnormal relationship,” i.e. one that
lasts, then all you’ve done is invest a little time in “insurance.”
But if you have a normal relationship, that insurance can pay off
big time, getting you back on your feet again much faster than most
other men.  Nothing is ever sure but backup plan for when a sure
thing goes south… so make sure you have several of them.
