The base emotions

Secrets to Meeting (and Bedding) Incredibly Sexy Women On Any

Hey Guys—

Whenever you read about a prominent historical figure, someone

highly respected, you tend to view them as incapable of base
emotions.  Instead, you assume that because they were so
accomplished, and so well regarded that they spent their time
thinking high minded thoughts, never, ever doing anything untoward.

The reality is vastly different.  Just like “normal” people, the

most highly regarded also have base emotions and are prone to
acting out them, even when it makes no sense to do so.

Take, for example, General David Petraeus.  Not only was he a

highly respected 4 star General, he was also the director of the
CIA.  He was well liked, well respected, and regarded as highly
intelligent.

But, like many great men, he gave into base emotion.  Because he

wanted to show off to his ultra-hot married girlfriend and
biographer, he removed classified materials from their secure
location and showed them to her, even though she was not authorized
to see them.

You would think that such a highly intelligent man who’d spent his

whole life protecting such secrets would not be prone to the base
emotion of showing off. But he did, and it got him into big trouble.

Most people think of Thomas Jefferson as a transcendent figure,

one of the Founding Fathers of the US, and in a sense he was.  He
was a brilliant man, one of the architects of the US as we know it
(and will hopefully continue to know it).

But Jefferson was also prone to base emotions, namely terminal

horniness.  He slept with slaves, and he hit on the younger (very
hot) wife of a personal friend, annoying her so much that she told
her husband about it, and he forced an embarrassed Jefferson to
write a letter confessing to his misdeed, and sealing it to be
mailed if he ever repeated it.  It’s hard to imagine the Jefferson
you learned about in history class doing such a thing, but he
surely did it.  Thank God smartphones weren’t around then, or Lord
knows how many Weiner photos he would have sent to women.

Throughout your life, you will meet people you admire greatly, and

you will be tempted to put them on the pedestal where base emotions
don’t exist.  But there is no such thing in reality, and often the
more accomplished the person, the more base emotions they have.

Don’t deny the base emotions in yourself, either.  Control them,

yes, but don’t ever be so arrogant as to think you don’t have them,
or won’t be tempted by them.  Better yet, give them an outlet in a
safe environment, where the consequences are very light.  That’s
the best way to keep them at bay, before they shut off your brain
in a situation that leads to real consequences. After all, General
Petraeus and Thomas Jefferson couldn’t, so don’t think that you
can.
