Melvin and Dave take on the Scout Section

We're pleased to announce that Melvin Wilson and Dave Giles have agreed to take on the role of ACC Scouts, overseeing the County Scout Support Team. Both have previously been involved with the team and take over from Rob Gill.

Skills4Life badge launched

Skills4Life is a new badge scheme being offered in partnership with Kent County Council.

The scheme is all about providing young people from 6-18 years the skills for modern life! Tackling subjects like scams, safety, social media and shoppers rights to name but a few, it prepares our young people for adult life!

Accompanying the scheme is a brilliant resource full of activities, leaders notes and a badge map so that you can connect everything you do to the National badge scheme at the same time (as well as earning the Skills4Life badge)!

Electronic resources can be found online. Hardcopy resources and further information on how the scheme works will be distributed at upcoming ADC meetings.

Skills4Life
The new Skills4Life scheme was launched at County Hall in Maidstone this week. Further details will be coming out over the next few weeks.
