Escape the Cold – SUN ‘n FUN Fly-In

As parts of the country brace for yet another snow storm, it’s hard to imagine that the south’s largest airshow, the SUN ‘n FUN International Fly-in and Expo, will once again kickoff a 6 day event at the Lakeland Linder Airport in Lakeland, Florida from April 10th – 15th. In its 44th year, the Fly-In will be “Recognizing the Designers, Builders and Maintainers."

As a pilot, how do you see it all? Best suggestion – come early!! Tuesday thru Friday are the best days to speak with the 500+ aviation vendors and exhibitors about new products and just-released technology. The schedule for Forums and Workshops continues to expand with a renewed focus on technology. The U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds will be performing Saturday and Sunday which is always a crowd favorite as well as over 60 world-class airshow performers demonstrating their skills throughout the week including 2 night shows on Wednesday and Saturday. Continue to check as the airshow performance list is still growing.

The SUN ‘n FUN Fly-In is the largest fundraising event for The Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE). As a 501 (c)3 organization, it operates and/or funds over $2M annually in STEM-related educational programs and scholarships that make a difference both locally and nationally.
