Sedo annually produces a list of highlighted domain categories within the past year of sales such as highest value, longest domain sold and more. This year saw some interesting top accolades, including a 60 character name! The most bid-on domain category overall was “names with three characters or less”.

The trend towards short names continues as well as the skew towards .com names vs. other available options. Read more

4. New Auction Details Page
Last year we relaunched our website debuting improved functionality and some new features. Our latest development is an overhaul to the Auction Details Page. It is now synchronized with the overall website design, as well as more responsive and user-friendly on mobile devices and tablets. There’s also a Q&A Message Board where buyers and sellers can pose questions and answers to each other.

The new Auction Details Page will increase efficiency within the purchase process and support our continued focus on an improved user experience. See more
