The New Allure.com Is Beauty Reimagined

Hi Allure readers,

I'm thrilled to give you a first look at the exciting new allure.com. When I started as editor in chief of Allure in November, we started to work on the next incarnation of our digital, social, and video experience. And from the very beginning, we thought long and hard about what the beauty world needs and how to give you, the user, the best experience possible.

For 25 years, you've trusted Allure to be the honest, intelligent beauty authority. Now you can rely on us even more for real-time news; provocative, in-depth stories; features on interesting, inspiring women; the best product reviews and recommendations in the industry; access to the most respected experts and celebrities; and so much more.

We’re going through a total content revolution. In the coming weeks, we'll be launching a whole slate of video series and features, as well as celebrity guest-written columns. And, we're debuting some new verticals, including tech, travel, and wellness.

One of my favorite new video series is our inspiring docu-series, Pretty Powerful, which features a range of strong, sexy, badass women at the intersection of beauty, fitness, and wellness, like purple-haired Olympic fencer Dagmara Wozniak. It only begins there.

Our mission is to merge inspiration with information, so we've made it even easier to buy the products you see on our site. Check out the new "Buy It" buttons appearing throughout. Our goal is to eventually make the entire site shoppable. In addition to the Buy It button, you'll soon see my favorite new feature: our "Try It" button.

I’m also excited to introduce our Collections. Across the site, we have carefully curated lists of products: Charlize Theron's six favorite beauty products, must-have products for your wedding day, Best of Beauty winners...the list goes on. (Scroll down to see my latest picks.)

I also encourage you to get to know our editors in new ways through their personal stories and individual opinions, as well as stories from other interesting women shared on the site.

I sincerely can't wait for you to experience the new allure.com. Enjoy and follow us on social media to stay connected!

xo
