L’action de l’opérateur boursier a été entourée, après l’annonce de l’entrée en négociations pour la reprise à 100% de LCH.Clearnet SA au London Stock Exchange, leur filiale en France. Une opération qui permettrait à Euronext de renforcer ses positions sur le marché de la compensation et de contrôler une entité dont il assure déjà la moitié du chiffre d'affaires. C’est peut-être un bien pour un mal, estiment les analystes. Cette transaction faciliterait en parallèle la fusion entre le LSE et Deutsche Börse, pour créer un mastodonte valorisé 27 milliards d’euros, dix fois plus que la capitalisation boursière du français.
