Inside the SJP Sample Sale: Shoes for Under $100
A pair of SJP shoes.

Sample sales? So New York. Sex and the City? Sooo New York. So really, there’s nothing more New York than the one-day SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker sample sale happening right now in midtown. We got a sneak peek at the goods just before the doors opened this morning, and here’s what we learned:

Prices start at just $80 for “plain” shoes — that includes suede, leather, and velvet styles — while “detailed” shoes with effects like printed snakeskin or glitter are $100. You’ll need to add sales tax to any item over $110, but the price list already does the math for you; that puts ankle booties at $163, to-the-knee styles at $212, and over-the-knee at $272.

Size-wise, there’s everything from 35 to 41. Sample size 37 had a lot to choose from, and the smaller sizes tended to stock the most popular (and glittery!) styles. There’s also bags, too, ranging in price from $30 to $136.
