Children’s Ministry is now providing worship notebooks for Pre-K through early elementary children for use during the sermon time of the worship service. The notebook contains listening activity/coloring pages, along with crayons/pencils. Parents/guardians should encourage their children to participate during the praise & worship time and then use the notebook to help focus on the sermon. Notebooks are located in a bin beside the bulletin table. Each notebook contains a page for parents with suggestions on ways to help children prepare & participate in the worship service.  Any completed pages can be taken home.  Please return the notebook with the crayons & pencils to the bin after the service.  It is our prayer that these pages will help you to encourage your child to participate in the service and become an active sermon listener.

The elders have appointed the following individuals to our Permanent Facility Team.  Please pray for them as they begin meeting soon.  Rick Benefield, Stephen Bell, Carol Choporis, Chris Kaselemis, Diane Reichard

Starting on November 16, all women are invited to participate in an informal bible study using curriculum from the Mom to Mom Ministries.  This purposeful gathering of women from various life experiences is intended to breathe encouragement, biblical wisdom and practical application of scripture into the lives of the young mothers of Redeeming Grace.   The study will be held every other week beginning at 9:30am and concluding around 11am. This will take place at the Spinnenweber home in the Leonard’s Grant community.  Cost of the optional workbook and devotional cd is $14.95. Please contact Teri Spinnenweber or Misha Hash to RSVP. Fernandez Family - Specific prayer requests:

  • Omar’s being asked to develop a prospectus / strategy targeting the area in the Bronx he is being led to plant.  Right now that area seems to be centered on a place called Concourse Village in the south Bronx.  Pray for clarity as he seeks God’s guidance in this process.
  • Omar has been meeting regularly with a young man called to pastoral ministry.  This young man is praying about joining Omar to plant in the  Bronx.
  • The kids schooling…Omar and Nancy are praying for wisdom about the kids schooling as the public schools in the Bronx aren’t the best.  They will keep kids in school in Brooklyn for this year but as they seek to move to the Bronx by next September they will need to decide on schooling.
  • Nancy’s sister – going through a difficult time.  Nancy has been spending much time with her.
