Ride Golden Gate Ferry to SF's St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, March 12!

Take Golden Gate Ferry to the San Francisco St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival on Saturday, March 12! It's a fast and enjoyable ride and drops you off just steps from the parade route. Plus, we've added high-speed trips to and from SF on the Larkspur route.

The parade starts at around 11:30am from Market and 2nd Streets and makes its way to the Civic Center Plaza for the festival.

  • Ride from Larkspur: Trips at 9:00am (added), 9:30am, 10:30 (added), and 11:40am. Added return trips from SF at 2:45pm and 5:30pm.
  • Ride from Sausalito: Trip at 11:20am.
  • Buy your tickets early to avoid long lines on Saturday! Purchase round trip tickets if you'll be riding in both directions.
  • Plan to arrive early: Ferries will depart on time and will not wait for customers waiting to purchase tickets

We want the ferry ride to be a good experience for all customers. Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. Underage drinking will not be permitted in the parking lot or onboard and outside beverages may not be brought onboard. GGF will have security at the terminals and on the vessels to ensure passengers are adhering to our passenger code of conduct.

For complete ferry schedules, fares, and trip planning assistance, please visit or call 511 (say "Golden Gate Transit," then "operator" to bypass recorded messages)/TDD 711. The Golden Gate Customer Service Center is open weekdays from 7am to 6pm.
