Almost one month to go until the EU Referendum
Help us spread the word and encourage more people to get #ReadyToVote in time for the registration deadline on June 7.
We’ve set up a simple way to do this – just click through and donate a tweet or Facebook post via this Thunderclap link.
You will join others in putting out a coordinated message, to go live on Monday evening, creating a ripple effect when all supported posts are activated at the same time.
You can also support the campaign further by getting this message out to your professional networks, family and friends before Monday – just use the suggested text below which explains a bit more about the #ReadyToVote campaign and what Thunderclap does.
One month to go until the EU Referendum
Monday 23 May marks the one month countdown to the EU Referendum, a once in a generation decision on whether the UK should remain or leave the European Union.
It is important that as many people as possible understand the need to register to vote ahead of this if they haven’t already.
Register to vote by 7 June. It's quick and easy. You just need your national insurance number to hand, which you can find on your tax return, payslip or P60. Away on 23 June when the referendum takes place? You can still apply to vote by post or proxy (where someone votes on your behalf). Find out how to register at Aboutmyvote.co.uk and register online at GOV.UK/register-to-vote
