AIT India Camp 2016:
the tale of twenty researchers-turned-entrepreneurs
‘Intensive’, ‘insightful’ and ‘cross-pollinating’ were the expressions that the participants used to describe the Academia-Industry Training (AIT) programme in Bangalore. swissnex India and SINE IIT Bombay brought together twenty researchers from all over Switzerland and India to validate their product ideas, create and reflect upon their business models and familiarize themselves with the Indian market.

The Consulate General of Switzerland in Bangalore joins in the celebration of the ‘Week of the French Language’ – Francophone Festival, at Alliance Francaise, Bangalore, with the screening of two acclaimed Swiss French movies: 'L’Abri: The Shelter' and 'EXIT: The Right To Die'. The Francophonie Festival is an annual worldwide celebration of the French language. Being the second most widely spoken language in the country, the festival is of great importance to Switzerland.

Focus India Student Delegation Visit 2016

Every year, Focus India, a student delegation from the School of Business, University of Applied Sciences of North Western Switzerland (FHNW),  visits India for a business tour. The visit is to gain an understanding of how Swiss, Indian and international companies train young, skilled employees in order to ensure high quality and performance. swissnex India will connect the group with Workbench Projects, a makers space, to learn how they add value to the makers/entrepreneurship ecosystem in Bangalore.

Urban Flow at Techkriti 2016

swissnex India, in collaboration with ETH Global will facilitate the showcase of ‘ÚrbanFlow’, a project conceived by the students of ETH Zurich, at Techkriti - an annual international technological and entrepreneurial festival of IIT Kanpur. The UrbanFlow Honeycomb is a modular system of small wind turbines specially designed for urban environments. The project will be represented by two students - Paul Westermann and Lucas Kundig  from ETH Zurich.
