For one night on Thursday 2 February, Wembley Stadium will provide glorious surroundings for The West London Business Awards 2017. A major milestone in the local business calendar, the fourth edition of the awards will bring together over 250 guests drawn from entrants, sponsors and businesses from all sectors across the sub-region; showcasing business innovation and expertise in addition to being an unrivalled business networking opportunity.

The Host
Joining us for the evening as our host and master of ceremonies is renowned West London Broadcaster Konnie Huq.

One of the UK’s most seasoned TV presenters, she was the longest reigning presenter on the hit BBC children’s show Blue , and hosted the highest rated Xtra Factor series to date.

 
The Awards
Our largest ever shortlist sees twenty-three awards contested amongst our largest ever pool of contenders, highlighting the diverse entrepreneurial spirit that makes West London the best place to do business.

The Entertainment
Our entertainment for the evening will be headlined by Rusty Egan who will hit the decks for our 80s disco taking place from 10pm – midnight. The supremely talented teenager DJ Krish will support Rusty for the evening.
Rusty Egan began his legacy as one of the finest DJs of the 1980s alongside Steve Strange at the Blitz in Covent Garden. Working venues across London, including Camden Palace - now known as KOKO, He has also worked as a producer for groups such as Spear of Destiny, Shock and the Senate. In December 2016, Egan released his debut solo album “Welcome to the Dance Floor".



When it comes to DJs under 15, DJ Krish is setting the trend for others to follow - last year he played the reception at the prestigious 14th annual Urban Music Awards. He has already collaborated with other top DJs including Seb Fontaine and Jazzie Q. DJ Krish has already set the bar high for himself, with ambitions to be hitting the DJ scene in Ibiza within 5 years.
Ticket options
The evening begins with a drinks reception at 6pm, followed by a three course meal. In addition, you can expect a plethora of networking opportunities and the event will also support local charities working to develop the next generation of talent. The climax of the evening will see the announcement of West London Business of the Year 2017 - the prestigious title won last year by Westfield London.
