Putting together an outline is a great way to organize your novel before you start writing. It can be used as a roadmap to keep you on track. In the Outlining Your Novel Workshop you will learn how to brainstorm plot ideas, discover your characters, explore key events, and craft your backstory. Author K.M. Weiland said, "I will never begin another story without outlining." The online workshop begins November 17th. Test your outlining skills!

In the Outlining Your Novel workshop, the organizational principals at work will help you bring your story arc to fruition and keep the plot moving along. You can map your thoughts in an organic way. Connect scenes via your outline and then let your imagination run free as you write. Published author Elizabeth Huergo instructs.

"Outlining was an important process for Faulkner, Plath, Heller, and Joyce. It's an important process for us all. Outlining is the skill that turns creative chaos into art."

  ~ Elizabeth Huergo

One student said, "The Outlining Your Novel class has made a great impact on my writing." Another student said, "I didn't realize how much I didn't know until I took this course. Identifying the necessary components and outlining where I want the story to go has been really helpful in personal and professional circles." The outline is one of the most powerful weapons in a writer's arsenal.

Class starts Thursday, November 17th. You can work on your own time since there is no scheduled time to meet during the course. The cost is $399.99. All writers are welcome! Join the Outlining Your Novel Workshop!
