Opening with historical accounts of the revolutionary struggle that established Ethnic Studies in the late 60s, this record of modern-day activism moves into a moment closer to and eerily reflective of our present, at a time when radical knowledge and student organizing are critically necessary. Please bring pillows and blankets (if you want), and snacks will be provided! We will be discussing the film afterwards, and situating its insights in our current political moment.
