P2 Science Raises $9.6M; Building Manufacturing Plant in New Haven
Elm Street Ventures announced today that P2 Science, Inc., the portfolio company it co-founded with Yale University, has closed on a $9.6 million Series B financing round. The new equity will enable P2 Science to build its first commercial production plant in the New Haven area, close to its headquarters in Woodbridge, CT.

Yale has four $25,000 entrepreneurship prizes that share a single application--the Thorne Prize for Social Innovation in Health or Education, the Sabin Sustainable Venture Prize, the Aetna Foundation Prize for Health Equity Innovation, and the Miller Prize which is open to tech-related startup ideas. Fri., April 21: Application Deadline for Yale Innovation Summit Poster Session & Pitchoffs. The Yale Innovation Summit on May 10 at Yale School of Management is the largest gathering of innovators and investors at Yale. Yale researchers are invited to apply to present as part of the poster session which will be displayed on electronic posters throughout the event and attract investors for conversation. Poster applicants interested in starting a company will also be considered to present during the Summit's Biotech or Tech Pitchoffs which includes broad exposure to investor attendees and the opportunity to win cash awards.
